Our day at the cottage

My parents have a cottage on Manistee Lake in Michigan, and I always love going there whenever we can. The day after the family reunion we spent the day at the cottage (about an hour from my parents' house). We had the most relaxing day of our entire "vacation"! It was a little on the cooler side, but the boys went fishing and had fun. Bryan and Eli took a long nap together. My mom took Silas for a walk. I also was able to relax for a couple hours and read out on the dock.

Grandma took the boys out in the paddle boat...the boys both wanted to paddle with their oars.

Watching it all from the dock: priceless!

It was too cold to play on the beach, so Grandma brought out some water toys...of course they got soaked, but they had a blast!

The boys, nice and dry now and getting ready for the campfire and s'mores!
