the boys

Well, we've had a fun couple of weeks and have played a lot, inside and out! Here are some snapshots for your enjoyment!

We have recently discovered a web site for kids learning to read called www.starfall.com, and the boys love it! Eli has learned how to use the touch pad on the computer and asks almost every day if he can "do his letters." He gets this really intense look on his face and is learning so much! Silas likes to watch him do it and is learning all the sounds the letters make and how to spell words!

We went to ChuckECheese's with some families from our neighborhood, and the boys had a blast! They've been wanting to play games a lot at home now, and Bryan will give them tickets (just like at ChuckE's).

Here are Bryan and Silas sleeping after Silas climbed into our bed early one morning...I don't know how Silas thought this might be comfortable. Bryan apparently didn't mind it either.

Our friend Sheri across the street invited the boys and I over to make play dough! They had a great time dumping and stirring and finally playing outside with it!

The boys and I played outside a lot this week! One day they were particularly open to posing for the camera...so of course I took advantage of it!

Eli drawing an owl with sidewalk chalk.

Their neighbor friend Will, and Eli and Silas sitting in Will's pool (with no water) and putting football tees on their heads. Silly boys!

Sleepy Silas

Eli and his preschool teacher, Amber Hopkins.

Eli and Jenny Beath, his classroom aide.

Eli and his "favorite friend" Emma from school making silly faces. They play together every day at school!

Eli looks so grown up in that first picture...from the look on his face to the way he has his arm on the table. He is just getting too big too fast! You sure have been keeping busy and having lots of fun. Nice weather, too! Great pictures! We can't wait to see you in June! Give the boys hugs and kisses for us.

We love you!

Wow - those boys are so photogenic. Congrats for getting them to sit still and look at you long enough to take all of those! ;)
